    The program will incorporate education, yoga and breath practices to activate the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve influences your breathing, digestive function and heart rate, all of which can significantly impact your mental health.

    Our Nervous System Workshops are held once a month in 2025. Understand the science of your Nervous System and gain practical strategies, teaching, and tools. Don't miss this opportunity for transformative insights and actionable skills.

THE 2024PROGRAM

Week 1 - Understanding YOUR Nervous System

Learn the science behind our nervous system and how we operate in our everyday life. Understand your auto-nomic nervous system and gain the tools to practice bringing regulation into your body. Learn to give your body moments of rest, how to sense when you are activated or triggered, and learn how your body operates by mapping your own unique nervous system.

This will be followed by yoga practice incorporating vagal toning movement.

Week 2 - Understanding our relationships through a polyvagal and attachment lens

This week we will explore the difference between self and co-regulation and how to sense your body when around certain people. Gain the tools to practice coming into secure attachment and safety in your relationships. Understand how the way the body communicates with others and interacts with our environment.

This will be followed by yoga (breath and vocal toning for vagus reset).

Week 3 - The dysregulated body (burn out)

Learn the science behind chronic stress and nervous system dysregulation. Gain the tools to re-engage with your own innate boundaries. Begin tuning in to the language of your body. Learn the foundation exercise of orienting, engaging your felt sense and tracking your sensations. Build your resources bank to support your nervous system.

This will be followed by yoga with a focus on vagal toning of the abdomen.
